KILLED BY FAST TRAIN
Milwaukee, Wis. - (UP) - Nicholas Licht, 45, Kaukauna, a NOrthwestern railroad brakeman, was killed by a speeding passenger train here today.
From the engine cab of his freight train, Licht stepped off to examine a defective brake. The freight was proceeding south about five miles an hour.
Meanwhile the northbound express passed on the adjoining track at a speed of 50 miles.
Licht's body was found by members of the freight crew. He had apparently not seen the approaching passenger train.
