TWO PEOPLE KILLED.

A BOILER EXPLODES ON A FARM NEAR SISTERSVILLE, W. VA.

Sistersville, Jan. 7. -- A boiler exploded on the DAVIS HOWELL farm in the Benwood territory yesterday morning about 9 o'clock in which two men lost their lives and two others were pretty seriously injured. The lease on this farm is owned by the Fisher Oil company, and the gang were fixing up to clean out when the boiler exploded with the above result.
One of the men killed, SAM BIGLER, the farm boss, was thrown many feet in the air and when he lit life was extinct.
The killed were:
SAM BIGLER, of New Matamoras, O.; married.
WILLIAM AUSTIN of the upper country, a driller.
JAMES NOLAN and CHARLES HINKLER, a driller and tool dresser, both were seriously injured and NOLAN may not recover.
No cause for the explosion is given.
