FIVE ARE KILLED AS SPOKANE CAR HITS ABUTMENT.

Spokane, Wash. (AP) - Five persons died today when a speeding automobile hit an overpass abutment on the Spokane Valley Freeway and burst into flames.
Immediate identification was impossible, but the state patrol said there were three men and two women in the car.
A patrolman estimated the automobile was going "at least 90 miles an hour" when it smashed into an abutment at the Argonne Street overpass.
The freeway carries main east-west traffic past the city.
