FOUR ARE DROWNED WHEN CAR CAREENS OFF U.S. HIGHWAY.

Longview, Wash., Oct. 18. -- (AP) -- Four persons
drowned Sunday when an automobile in which they were riding careened off a sharp curve on Ocean Beach highway, seven miles west of here, and plunged 25 feet into a deep Columbia River slough.
The dead:
ARTHUR B. WELDAY, 26, of Longview.
MRS. WELDAY, 22, his wife.
GILBERT WELDAY, a brother, of Portland.
MISS DOROTHY DREW, about 20, of Longview.
The group was returning from a dance hall two miles above where the accident occurred.
