2 NAVY AIRMEN DIE AS PLANE EXPLODES.

Columbia, Va. (UPI) -- Two Navy airmen were burned to death Sunday when their two-seated skyraider exploded and crashed near here.
Witnesses said the Navy AD-5 plane circled the area several times, then exploded and crashed on a farm six miles southwest of here near busy Route 6.
The airmen trapped in the wreckage were burned almost beyond recognition.
Navy personnel identified them as:
Lt. JOHN B. SULLIVAN, 27, the pilot.
Airman EDWARD M. BARTON, 23, both from Washington, D.C.
