THREE KILLED BY DYNAMITE BLAST.

HOUSES ROCKED AND WINDOWS BROKEN BY EXPLOSION AT HERCULES PLANT IN UTAH.

Salt Lake City, Utah, July 5 -- (AP) -- Three men were killed in an explosion of dynamite in the
"mix house" of the Hercules Powder Company at Bacchus, 14 miles from this city, today.
They were:
WILLARD JENKINS, single, of Magna, Utah.
OLIVER SHAFER, of Bacchus, survived by his widow and three children.
E. K. EUGENE, single, of Pleasant Green.
The explosion set fire to an adjacent building, rocked nearby houses and broke numerous windows. Officials of the company said its cause was undetermined.
The men were working in the mix house, making ammonia, dynamite, it was announced.
