Hobson, TX Two Car Wreck Kills Seven, May 1966

AUTO CRASH KILLS SEVEN.

Hobson, Tex. (AP) - A two-car wreck in a heavy fog near this South Texas town killed seven persons and injured an eighth today.
It was the second seven-death crash in two days in the United States, the other one near Yreka, Calif., yesterday.
Killed in the Hobson crash, state police reported, were:
CLIFFORD DAVIS, Weeburton, Okla., stationed at the Navy's Chase Field near Beeville, and these San Antonio residents:
DOROTHY FISCHER; DAVID HARDY, 44; WILLIAM CLYDE FISCHER, 24; THELMA SMIATH HARDY, 44; CHRISTINE FISCHER, 18; and NORMA JEAN LEE, 3.
Injured was GILBERT FLORES of San Antonio, 37, of San Antonio.
Officers said DAVIS was alone in one car.
