NORTH TEXAS AUTO CRASH KILLS SEVEN.

Santo, Tex. (UPI) - Seven persons, including four children, died Friday night in a broadside crash at a busy intersection in north central Texas.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said six of the victims were members of an Oklahoma family and that another child in their car was in critical condition with head injuries.
Patrolman Richard Johnson said the accident occurred at the intersection of FM 4 and U.S. 281, 21 miles south of Mineral Wells and south of Santo.
Johnson said a car driven by RICARDO PEREZ, 20, of Olustee, Okla., failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a vehicle driven by JOHN H. BURLESON, 57, of Houston. Both men died.
MARY ELLEN PEREZ of Olustee and four children, ranging in age from 5 to 10, also were killed. The fifth child in the PEREZ car was in critical condition at the Palo Pinto Hospital at Mineral Wells.
Johnson said the accident occurred at dusk at the four stop sign intersection.
