Four Thousand Dollar Loss on Farm Near Minter.

Paris, Tex., April 23. -- A large stock barn and sheds on E. M. Elliott's farm near Minter, twenty miles southeast of town, was destroyed by fire at 1 o'clock this morning. About 300 bushels of corn, several tons of hay, two mowing machines, a hay press and a large number of plow tools were also consumed. Three hogs and a horse perished in the flames. The other stock were gotten out by neighbors without injury.
The barn was one of the largest in the county and is estimated to have been worth at least $2,000 empty. The total loss on the barn and contents was about $4,000. It is understood that there is no insurance.
