Corpus Christi, TX Printing Office Fire, Mar 1888


CORPUS CHRISTI, TEX., March 5. -- On returning from dinner this afternoon the foreman of El Commercio Mexicano discovered that the building used as a printing office by the above company was on fire and an alarm was sounded and the smouldering fire extinguished by citizens and the fire department in about an hour. The fire started in a defective flue. Damage $100. Insured.
