DRY GOODS STORE

BRENHAM, TEX., March 5. -- The dry goods and clothing establishment of Henry Cohn, located on the east side of the court-house square, was discovered to be on fire about 4 o'clock Sunday morning. The building was a two-story brick, belonging to the estate of the late P. W. Connell. The active work of the fire department stopped the flames from spreading to the adjoining brick buildings, and thus preventing an extensive conflagration. The losses were quite heavy. There was heavy insurance on the goods. The building was fully covered by insurance.
