Four Injured In Crash of Auto, Trolley

Four members of an Oak Cliff family were injured, one seriously, when an automobile in which they were riding collided with a Sunset streetcar at Brooklyn and Montreal Saturday night.

Injured were Alvin Cleveland, 31, of 2811 Wilton, and his three sons, Alva Cleveland, 14; Glenn Cleveland, 9 and Bobby Cleveland, 7. All were taken to Methodist Hospital.

Bobby, the most seriously hurt, sustained a head injury. The father suffered a possible head injury and his condition was described as fair. Alva sustained a cut on the his right cheek and a fractured finger of his left hand, and Glenn received a severe cut on his lip. Neither was believed in serious condition.

Accident Investigator K. P. Knight and Police Officer Hubert Hightower listed Margaret Beck, 24, of 614 Richmondell, as the operator of the west-bound streetcar.
