STOCK OF DRY GOODS DAMAGED.
Fire at 330 Elm Street Causes Loss Estimated at $2,500 to C. Abramson.
At 9:30 o'clock last night box 127 was pulled for a fire in the clothing and dry goods store of A. Abramson, 330 Elm street. The stock was damaged by the combined action of fire and water to the extent of about half its value.
Mr. Abramson said he had $5,000 worth of goods in the house, on which he had $2,000 insurance. The building, which is the property of Judge B. F. Word, is worth about $3,000. The damage to it was slight.
