ON WAY TO WEDDING DALLAS GIRL HURT BADLY

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 7.—Miss Clara Ruth, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Ruth, Sr., of 300 South Fleming street, Dallas, was badly injured late Saturday evening on the Weatherford road twenty miles west of Fort Worth, when struck by another automobile as she alighted from the car in which she and her parents were driving.
Mrs. Ruth’s hat blew off and as Miss Ruth passed around the automobile to retrieve it another automobile struck her on the side, knocking her down. The motorists stopped and helped to carry the injured girl to the family’s automobile, then drove off before his name of the license number of his automobile were taken, according to the parents.
The family was traveling to Weatherford to attend the wedding of a son at the time of the accident.
