Woman Hurt In Auto Crash
Mrs. Vena Helen Rogers, 21, of 4351 Hamilton, was injured critically when the automobile in which she was riding collided with another at Beeman and Culver early Sunday.
She was taken to Parkland Hospital where attendants said she was suffering from a compound skull fracture. Mrs. Rogers had not regained consciousness late Sunday.
Police Sgt. Ray Lunday and Investigator Floyd Alexander of the accident prevention bureau listed Mrs. Rogers' husband, Dee Rogers, 26, as the driver of the car in which she was riding.
They said Sydney Rash Bivins, 20, of Terrell, was the driver of the other car. Bivins escaped injury.
Rogers received minor scratches and bruises. He was examined at Parkland and released.
