(Special To The News.)

Aurora, November 4. – News reached here this morning that Jno. WILLIAMS, living about six miles south of here, was helping to dig an old well deeper. Just after he and his associates had blasted, he went down in the well and was struck by the damps. He was drawn up by a rope about fifteen feet from the bottom when he was overcome and let loose, his foot being in a loop in the rope. He fell to the bottom head foremost, cutting himself badly about the head. He was dead when taken from the well. Mr. WILLIAMS was a popular young man and leaves many friends.
