Albany Man Fatally Hurt
R. R. Reynolds Victim of Wreck in East Texas
Albany, May 28. – News of the death of his son, Raymond R. Reynolds at Kilgore, was received here this afternoon by J. H. REYNOLDS, pioneer Shackelford county ranchman.
Mr. REYNOLDS, 35, died of injuries received in a collision between an automobile and a truck near Longview, at 9 o’clock Monday morning. Details of the accident were not learned.
The body is expected to arrive here at noon tomorrow, aboard the Katy train, and will be taken to the family home, where funeral service will be held in the afternoon.
Raymond REYNOLDS spent his boyhood days in Shackelford county and attended school at Albany. In early manhood he went to the Plains area, where he resided for several years. Returning to Albany, he was employed for more than two years in the office of the district clerk. Three years ago he went to Kilgore, where he had lived since. For a time he was manager of a grocery store and more recently had been in the employ of an oil company.
Survivors besides his father are two brothers, J. H. REYNOLDS, Jr., of Throckmorton and Jesse W. REYNOLDS, Albany ranchman, and his father’s wife. His mother died many years ago.
