Fall Victim Satisfactory

Fifteen-year-old Nan SHELTON of Seminole, victim of a fall froma three-story window at a McMurry dormitory, was reported to be in satisfactory condition at Hendrick Memorial Hospital Thursday night.

Her injuries are serious, but a physician said her progress is satisfactory.

She suffered a fractured vertebra and fractures of both heels, her right ankle, and a bone below the hip in the right leg when she tumbled from a window onto a cement porch at President Hall.

A Seminole High School sophomore, she had been taking instruction in the baritone saxophone at McMurry’s summer band school.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. W. SHELTON.

The accident occurred about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.
