Attempt to Board Moving Train Is Fatal

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 31.--An attempt to board a westbound Texas & Pacific freight train at the west end of Lancaster yards Tuesday morning cost of life of a man believed to be Sam Teague, about 40, address unknown.

He was seen making a run for the train and slipping underneath the wheels after he jumped and failed to grab the bars on the side of a freight car.

Papers in his pocket bore the name of Sam Teague.
