Late News From All Over Texas

HOUSTON--An incoming freight train struck C. J. Wright, a street car conductor, and Miss Margaret Elliott at the edge of the city Sunday morning, killing them instantly. A passenger train following the freight ran over the bodies, which were horribly mutilated.

Victims of Accident Buried

Houston, Tex., Feb. 22--Both victims of the accident on the Galveston, Houston and Henderson Railroad yesterday morning were interred today. The funeral of C. L. Moody Jr. was held this afternoon under the auspices of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, and it was largely attended.

The funeral of Miss Maggie Elliott, the other victim of the accident, took place this morning from the undertaker's parlors, and interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
