Three Corsicana Fires Cause $3,000 Damage

Corsicana, Texas, Nov. 7.-Three fires in and near Corsicana resulted in damage estimated at more than $3,000 during the last twenty-four hours.
The first alarm came early Friday night when a hay barn just south of the Magnolia Refinery was destroyed. Amount of the loss was unknown.
The second was in the operating room of the Ideal Theater and resulted in a loss of about $1,500. Several reels of films were destroyed when they became ignited presumably from a short circuit in a rewind machine. The damage was confined to the operating room by use of chemical and a small hose line.
A third fire Saturday morning burned the roof from a house at 1711 Woodlawn, occupied by E. S. Barham and owned by Mrs. T. P. Little. Damage amounted to about $1,500 on house and furnishings.
