GOLFERS KILLED BY LIGHTNING.

Clarksville, Tenn. (AP) - Two golfers were killed by lightning and a third injured near here Thursday in an electrical storm accompanied by the heaviest rainfall ever recorded at Nashville.
JOE EDDIE YOUNG and W. B. DUNLOP, JR., both of Clarksville, were struck while playing at the Dunbar Cave Golf Course. They were walking down a fairway when the storm broke, and took shelter under a tree.
A third golfer, COY BAGGETT, was hospitalized in fair condition. The other member of the foursome of Clarksville businessmen, J. T. Edwards, was uninjured.
The Weather Bureau at Nashville reported rainfall during a 5-hour period totaled 5.04 inches, the heaviest for any 24-hour period in the city.
