LEMMON MAN KILLED IN CRASH.

Lemmon, S.D. (AP) -- An elderly Lemmon man was killed Thursday when the car he was driving was struck by a train at an intersection here.
A car driven by PATRICK JONES, 80, was traveling at low speed across the tracks when the train hit, authorities said. The signal lights were working at the time, officials said.
The car traveled 136 feet after the collision. It struck a parked pickup truck, which in turn hit a car. No other injuries were reported.
The accident happened about 4:10 p.m.
