H. THIBAULT DROWNED

Winnipeg Man Sank While Swimming at Battleford.

Battleford, Sask., Aug. 19.---Harry Thibault, a member of an amusement company which played here last night, was drowned in the river to-day. He was in swimming and crossed once all right, but when coming back he was pulled down by the treacherous current. The body has not been recovered.

Thibault was a Winnipegger and has relatives in that city. A brother, Sam Thibault, is in the employ of the Winnipeg street railway. The man drowned was 22 years of age.
