Bickingham, Que., (AP) -- Twenty lumbermen were injured -- seven seriously -- in the derailment of a privately owned logging train about 40 miles north of here early Monday.
About 100 men were aboard the one-coach train when it struck a washout 17 miles north of Duhamel, Que. Duhamel is about 65 miiles northwest of Ottawa.
The seven seriously injured were admitted to St. Michael's Hospital. The rest received emergency treatment but were not detained.
