Run Down by Train
Patrick Doran, 32 years, of 3331 Mt. Vernon street, was run over by a train on the Pennsylvania Railroad, near Thirty-second street, last night, both legs being crushed. Doran is employed in the West Philadelphia stock yards, and was returning to his home when the accident occurred. The injured man was removed to the Presbyterian Hospital, where it was found necessary to amputate both his legs. At a late hour last night he was reported to be in a critical condition.
