Brookside, PA Auto Crashes Into Tree, Jun 1957

25-YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 8 DIES IN CRASH.

Jersey Shore, Pa. (AP) - MRS. MORRIS SHERMAN, 25-year-old mother of eight, was killed and three other persons were seriously injured yesterday when their auto crashed into a clump of trees.
Dr. Earl R. Miller, Lycoming County Coroner, said the accident occurred on Route 184 three miles north of Brookside, Lycoming County. He said MRS. SHERMAN, of Mount Morris, N.Y., is mother of five daughters and three sons.
Injured in the crash and reported in critical condition at the Jersey Shore Hospital are:
PAUL CLARK, 25, of Cogan Station, R.D. 1, the driver;
MRS. KATHERINE M. CLARK, 35, of Dansville, N.Y.;
and LEROY CLARK, 50, of Trout Run, R.D. 1, Lycoming County.
The auto was traveling north when it left the highway and crashed into three trees. MRS. SHERMAN was killed instantly, Miller said.
