Fallen Pole Wrecks Train.
Six Persons in Overturned Passenger Coaches Are Injured.
Erie, Pa., Jan. 20 – An overturned telegraph pole hurled across the Nickel Plate tracks by the heavy gale wrecked a west bound passenger train on the Nickel Plate Railroad at Fairview, near here, to-day. Six persons were injured. They are Mrs. C.H. LEGGETT, 1535 Payne avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, shoulder sprained; E.J. BENDER, Wellington, Ohio, scalp wounds; Mrs. E.J. BENDER, seriously bruised and cut; infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. BENDER, slightly injured; Mr. MINSKY, of Brooklyn, en route to Chicago, severe scalp wounds; Mrs. COUSINS, Conneaut, bruises.
Traffic has been seriously delayed.
