Driver Suffers Concussion of Brain As Result of Collision

When an electric car struck the wagon in which he was riding yesterday afternoon, John Workman, 120 State street, was thrown to the ground and seriously injured. He was sent to Harrisburg Hospital and an examination revealed the he has concussion of the brain and cuts and bruises on the face and head.

According to a statement issued at the office of the Harrisburg Railways Company, Workman had driven his horse across the car track, although warned of the car’s approach and while the motorman was clanging the gong. The accident occurred in Progress.
