Glass Factory Burned.

Coudersport Had an $80,000 Fire Sunday Night.

A Coudersport special says: The Bastow glass factory on the outskirts of the boro (sic) burned last night. The value of the buildings was $60,000. The contents were valued at $20,000 more. There was no way of saving the structure, as the buildings were beyond fire protection.

The fire will thrown many men out of employment. Whether or not the factory will be rebuilt has not yet been decided. How it caught fire is a mystery, but it is supposed it caught under a boiling pot. It was going well when discovered.
