HORSE KICKS OWNER; SKULL IS FRACTURED

Raymond Hazen, of Sheakleyville, Victim of Accident on Saturday Afternoon.

Kicked a glancing blow in the head by one of his horses, Raymond Hazen, of Sheakleyville, is recovering from a fractured skull following his injury Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Hazen was working with others on a road machine near the town, when a horse of Walter Armour became entangled with those of Hazen. As he was straightening out the harness his own horse kicked, and the blow struck him back of the ear.

After being unconscious for several hours, he regained his senses Saturday night, and is now recovering at his home.
