Allentown, PA Electrocution Accident, Oct 1916

ELECTRICIANS KILLED.

THREE MEN DIE WHEN CURRENT IS TURNED ON UNEXPECTEDLY.

Allentown, Pa., Oct. 23. -- A searching investigation into the death of three men, who were electrocuted at the plant of the Bethlehem Steel Company last night, is under way here today. The men were the victims of a mistake by an electrician, it is charged.
The dead are:
JOSEPH O'DONNELL, Allentown.
WILLIAM L. ROHN, Allentown.
WALTER BUTLER, Coopersburg.
The victims, all electricians, were repairing a high-tension wire. It is said another man turned on the current. Four others near the wire narrowly escaped a similar fate.
