GREENSBORO CHILD KILLED WHEN THROWN FROM WRECKED CAR

UNIONTOWN, June 24. - Glenn "Sunny" Wilson, six years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Wilson of Greensboro, was killed almost instantly shortly after 10 o'clock this morning when an automobile driven by Lawrence Vernon, 35, also of Greensboro, crashed violently into a telephone pole to escape a collision with Father John Campbell's car of Uniontown. The lad was catapulted out by the force of the impact and his skull fractured.

Orville Wilson, four, suffered lacerations of the face and head, Lawrence escaped injury.

Vernon said he saw that a collision was evident and rather than have a crash he drove off the road. The accident occurred at 10:10 o'clock one mile from Greensboro on the Carmichaels road in Greene county, just across the Monongahela River from Martin.
