BROWNSVILLE FIRE WIPES OUT 21 HOMES WORTH LARGE SUM.

Albany, Ore., July 14. -- Loss caused by the Brownsville fire, which destroyed one-third of the business section of the city and wiped out 21 residences Saturday, was estimated today at approximately $100,000. Insurance figures were not available, but much of the property destroyed was not insured and the total insurance will cover a relative small portion of the loss.
