BUS-AUTO CRASH KILLS 2, HURTS 4.
Klamath Falls, Ore., April 11. - (AP) - A bus-automobile collision killed two men and injured four other persons, one critically, at the north approach to the city Saturday night.
MAXEY ELLERY PRENTICE, JR., 21, and GEORGE LORBER, 21, both of Klamath Falls, were killed in the automobile.
JACK SNYDER, 20, Klamath Falls, was critically hurt. He was riding in the car.
Injured in the bus were the driver, STANLEY YOUNGER, 49, Bend, who suffered a severed leg artery, and three women bus passengers. They suffered only minor bruises and cuts and were treated at a hospital.
Police said the southbound car struck the Pacific Trailways bus near a State Highway Department construction project that will reroute the approach to the city. The car was demolished, but the bus remained upright.
