Espanola, ON Head-On Automobile Collision, Nov 1982

COLLISION KILLS NINE.

Espanola, Ont. (AP) -- Four Americans and five Canadians were killed Monday in a head-on collision of two cars on Highway 17 about 50 miles west of Sudbury.
Police identified the four Americans killed in one car as:
MARSHAL GEORGE BATHO, 64, of St. Paul, Minn.
ALETHA BATHO, 67, his wife.
VERA BATHO, 61.
RUTH BATHO, of Elmwood, Wis.
Killed in the other car were:
MR. and MRS. DONALD BLAIS of Ottawa and three of their children, ages 12, 11 and 8. The only survivor was PAULA BLAIS, 5, and she was hospitalized in serious condition.
