Tramp Killed, Twenty Injured.

Chickasha, Okla., Dec 7 -- An unidentified tramp was killed and twenty persons were injured Monday, when Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific passenger train Nos. 23 and 24 collided head-on at Minnekah [sic], seven miles south of here.

State Representative-elect T. J. Brown is among the seriously injured. His skull was fractured. Among the other [sic] injured are:

F. S. Hilbish, of Hennessey, Oklahoma, leg broken and internal injuries.

W. T. Epler, of Kansas City, bruises about head and back wrenched.

James Hutson, engineer on train, No. 23, internal injuries.

Joseph Lattimer, mail clerk on train No. 24, foot and leg broken and bad cuts about head and face.

Mrs. Susan Baker, of Duncan, Okahoma [sic], probably will lose an eye.

At the time of the collision the engineer of train No. 23, south-bound who had sighted the north-bound train coming around a curve, was endeavoring to back his train into a siding. A freight train in the siding, however, prevented him from clearing the track.
