A Newark Brakesman's Fatal Fall.

NEWARK, O., Jan. 17. -- [Special.] -- This afternoon James Johns, a brakeman on the Baltimore & Ohio local freight, was passing over his train at Alum creek, when he slipped and was precipitated to the creek below, meeting a most horrible death. His body was badly crushed and he was picked up a lifeless mass. Johns resided in this city, was aged about 30 years and leaves a widow and several children.
