BURIED ALIVE UNDER A GREAT BANK OF CLAY.

CLEVELAND, O., March 25. – (Associated Press.) – The result of a cave in of a huge bank of earth at the Main street plant of the Cleveland Gas Light and Coke Company this afternoon seven men are dead. Their names are: COLEGRO AMATI, GUISEPHI BERGOZZO, VINCENZO LISUZZO, ANDREW HAHN, PETER PREASL, Italian, name not learned; EDWARD LYNCH.

Another laborer was injured but not seriously. The men were working close to the bank of clay which suddenly gave way without the slightest warning, burying them beneath a mass of earth. Fellow workmen immediately began the work of rescue and in a very short time seven were taken out. Some were alive and others were dead. The living died en route to a hospital.
