Harrison, OH Train Hits Wagon, Dec 1879

KILLED BY THE CARS.

A frightful accident occurred on the Whitewater Valley railroad near Harrison, O., on the 9th inst., by which four persons were instantly killed. A construction train closely following a passenger train, ran into a wagon crossing the road, containing PETER SINGER, MAT. SINGER, MRS. MAGGIE SINGER, PETER NYE and MISS ELLA HURLEY. The first four named were instantly killed and MISS HURLEY injured.
