Mississippi River Boats Burned.

Cincinnati, Aug. 5.---About 2 p.m. a fire broke out on the Big Sandy wharf boat. It rapidly spread and soon swept out the wharf boats of the Louisville mail line, New Orleans and Memphis line. Before 3 o'clock, the fire was under control, but a number of wharf boats were totally destroyed, other damaged, and two steamers, Big Sandy and Carrollton burned to the water's edge. Total loss, over $100,000.
