FIREMAN AND ENGINEER KILLED AND SEVENTEEN INJURED.

Minot, N.D., Nov. 23. -- A. B. COMFORT of Grand Forks, engineer, and PETER MORRISSEY of Minot, deadhead fireman, were killed in a wreck of the Great Northern Oriental limited a mile east of Doyon.
Two mail clerks and three passengers were injured but not fatally. The accident was caused by the spreading of the track. Seventeen persons were injured and many were taken from the windows of the cars. Sixteen women and as many children were rescued in this way.

THREE TRAINMEN KILLED AND SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED ON GREAT NORTHERN.

Minot, N.D., Nov. 22. -- A. B. COMFORT of Grand Forks, engineer, PETER MORRISSET of Minot, deadhead fireman, and Fireman WRIGHT of Devils Lake were killed in a wreck on the Great Northern Oriental Limited a mile east of Doyon. Two mail clerks and three passengers were injured but not fatally. The accident was caused by spreading of track. The train was going about forty miles an hour and all cars went off the track, the engine, mail and baggage cars being demolished.
