Train Wreck in a Snowstorm.
BUFFALO, Feb. 25.---A Delaware, Lackawanna and Western fast freight, southbound, ran into the rear of an irregular train of empty coal and box cars at Alden Station during a blinding snowstorm at 2:10 o'clock this afternoon. L. E. Smith of Elmira, conductor of the irregular train, was killed. Smith in the caboose, which was crushed by the collision. His limbs were mangled, and he died while being sent to a Buffalo hospital.
