THREE PERSONS DIE IN ROUTE 17 CRASH; 2 OTHERS CRITICAL.

CAR AND LIGHT TRUCK ARE IN COLLISION, INVOLVE THREE OTHER AUTOS; TRAFFIC DELAYED.

Arden, N.Y., Oct. 14 (AP) -- Three residents of Paterson, N.J., were killed and two others were in a critical condition at the Tuxedo, N.Y. Memorial Hospital after a car and light truck collided on Route 17 yesterday.
State Police said the dead and injured were passengers in the auto driven by GEORGE J. MOONEY, 25, one of those killed.
The other dead, according to police, were BARBARA SIEBERT, 7, and DONALD BRENTWELL, 7, reported in a critical condition were MRS. HESTER SIEBERT, mother of BARBARA, and EVERETT SIEBERT, 10.
The truck was owned and operated, police said, by HENRY GREEN of (31 Academy Ave.), Middletown, N.Y. Three other autos were damaged in the accident, police reported, but none of their occupants was injured. Traffic reportedly was held up for several hours at the scene.
