Newark, NJ Train - Wagon Wreck, Jul 1880

Between 5 and 6 o'clock yesterday morning, as A. S. Van Sant and M. Menugh were driving across the Pennsylvania Railroad track at Greenstreet, Newark, their wagon was struck by a locomotive and carried on the cow-catcher for nearly a block. The men miraculously escaped being killed, but were seriously injured.
