Hopewell Cape, NB Fire, Jun 1903

NEW BRUNSWICK VILLAGE IS REDUCED TO ASHES.

ST. JOHN, N. B., June 5.---The village of Hopewell Cape and twenty-one buildings have been reduced to ashes. These buildings included the court house and nine residences. A new steamer and a tug were destroyed. At Black river, St. John county, five houses and a bridge were burning this evening.
