JOURNEYS TO DYING FATHER.

Leonard Patterson of Elko to Bullfrog to Attend Injured Parent

Latter Believed to Have Received Fatal Injuries in a Mine Accident.

Leonard Patterson, a well known young man of Elko, passed through Reno this morning on his way to Beatty, in the Bullfrog district, to see his father, who is reported to have received fatal injuries there Wednesday.

The dispatch received by the son did not state the nature of the father's misfortune but it is believed that he was hurt in a mine accident.

The elder Patterson had been mining in the Bullfrog district for some time, but formerly worked as carpenter at Elko where he is well known.
