NEVADA CRASH KILLS 8, INCLUDING FAMILY OF 4.

Winnemucca, Nev. - Eight people, including a family of four, have died in a head-on accident that shut down U.S. 95 for more than six hours.
There were no survivors when a northbound Isuzu Trooper crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Pontiac Grand Prix near the Idaho-Nevada state line late Friday, said Pat McGill, a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The Isuzu driver, JULIA HATCH, 29, of Boise, Idaho, was killed along with her husband, NOEL, 24, and their two children, NICHOLAS, 3, and ZACHARY, 2 months.
The Pontiac driver, TIMOTHY SMITH, 32, was killed along with passengers RONNIE CARPENTIER, 44, MELANIE BURTON, 27, and CAROLYN HAMILTON-VAUGHN, 33. All were from Idaho.
