Geneva, NE (near) House Fire, Oct 1888
A SHOCKING DISASTER.
A MOTHER AND HER FIVE CHILDREN BURNED TO DEATH.
Lincoln, Neb., Oct. 6. -- A special to the State Journal says:
A family named RICHTER, farmers living between Geneva and Ohiowa, consisting of the husband and wife and five children, were all burned to death, with the exception of the husband who was so seriously burned that he will probably die at their home last night.
A tramp who was spending the night with them was also burned to death.
The origin of the fire is unknown.
