LIAISON AIRCRAFT CRASHES.

Antioch, Neb. -- Two captains from the Alliance Army Air Field, each ferrying a small single-seat liaison type aircraft to Alliance from North Platte, met strong headwinds causing loss of fuel before reaching their destination.
The lead plane landed safely in a meadow, but the second plane had difficulty when the pilot was brought to the ground. The hard impact collapsed the front section of the plane killing the pilot, Capt.
HARRY E. STARK, pilot, San Diego, Calif.
